A smashing 12 mile walk along the River Ayr from Muirkirk to Sorn. A wee bit drizzle now and then but nothing to dampen our spirits. Tired legs at the end. Great day out.

A very pleasant outing today from the Short Walks Programme taking in the spectacular Turnberry Lighthouse and the beautifully peaceful Turnberry Beach. A visit to this area was a first for a few and they weren’t disappointed

A superb walk today on varied terrain with a few fences to cross to keep us entertained. Some young, inquisitive, cattle were well handled by the farmers amongst us. Great day, great weather and great company. A couple of new/returning faces we hope to see again

A wonderful new route today in glorious weather and thankfully shaded by cloud for the most part. Beautiful Galloway did not disappoint though the heat was a match for us all. Fish’n’chips on the road home was a wee joy, Thanks Ian.
